Welcome
The Stonehouse opened its doors in
February 2004 and has since become one
of the signature restaurants in the
Sierra Nevada foothills. Inspiration
came from the building itself, a
massive, romantic, fully restored
1800´s stone and timber structure
located in the incredibly charming Gold
Rush town of Nevada City. Both the
building and the town are listed on the
National Register of Historic
Places.
Food
Fine dining--California cuisine with
a Mediterranean flair. But, hey, this
is Nevada City--ties are unknown,
shorts are the summer uniform. Eat
well. Be comfortable.
Full Bar
With its beautifully restored
antiques and cozy fireplace, the bar is
a favorite with locals for a drink or
casual dining.
Dining Room
The open kitchen, wood-fired grill,
stone and timber make it a wonderful
setting for a romantic dinner for two,
dining with friends, or a good meal
out. Prices are reasonable.

Banquet Rooms
Upstairs are two exceptional banquet
rooms with stone walls, timbers,
antique doors and fixtures. They
accommodate 15 to 180 people for a
sit-down meal, reception, or gatherings
of all kinds. Contact our Banquet
Manager.
Stone Patio
When weather permits, the Stone
Patio is a stunning tree-shaded setting
for outdoor dining and a popular venue
for wedding ceremonies. Off the patio
is the entrance to the Wine Cave--dug
into the hillside and lined with
stone.
