Plumbago Saloon

The Stonehouse Bar is an historic treasure recently restored. The massive carved wood barback dates from 1884, it reportedly came from the notorious Chicken Ranch in Texas. The magnificent fireplace surround, doors to the dining room and other antiques all came from the famous Kidder Mansion in Grass Valley.

Cocktails

Full bar offers a large selection of martinis, single malt scotches, tequilas plus everything else you'd expect.

Wines By The Glass

Includes many local Nevada County and California wines, plus wines from around the world.

10 Beers On Tap

Rotated periodically, a sample list includes Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Racer 5 IPA, Newcastle, Alley Cat, Firestone, 1554 Black Ale, Blue Moon and Stella.

Bar Menu

Perfect for a more casual meal or munchies with a cocktail. Popular favorites include the New York steak sandwich, fresh fish 'n chips, steamed clams, chicken quesadilla, classic French onion soup, crabcakes and the Stonehouse Burger.

Taco Tuesday & Karaoke

Some of the best tacos you'll ever eat. Make-your-own beef or chicken are only $1.99. Starts at 5 pm. Karaoke, a popular event, starts about 9 pm.

Irish Pub Night - 2nd and 4th Thursdays

15 to 25 of the finest Celtic musicians in Northern California gather for a wonderful evening of bright, lively, Irish music, Guinness and fun. Bring your dancing shoes. Starts about 6:30 pm.

Live Music-Fri and Sat

Performances include soft jazz, early American, salsa, flamenco guitar, soft rock, bluegrass, acoustical performers, etc. etc.. Check the Stonehouse or The Union newspaper for the current schedule.
